What are the benefits of group travel insurance?
Group travel insurance covers trips for a minimum of 10 participants and up to 500 participants and provides all travellers with:
- medical cover abroad
- repatriation assistance
- cover for third-party liability abroad.
Does my insurance policy cover all members of my group on the same scale (differences in age, medical history, etc.)?
All travellers are covered equally.
In the event of repatriation of a person in the group, does my policy cover the costs of repatriating accompanying persons?
Imagine you are medically repatriated, or you die during your trip. If they cannot return home by the means initially provided, we organize and cover return transport for accompanying members of your family shown on the same insurance certificate, or an accompanying person shown on the same insurance certificate, by 1st class train or economy class airliner.
If no adult member of your family is accompanying you, we cover in order to accompany your children:
- Either a return ticket by 1st class train or economy class airliner for one of our hostesses,
- Or a round-trip ticket by 1st class train or economy class airliner for a person of your choice, as well as their additional accommodation costs, within the limit of the amount indicated in the table of cover.
One of the participants can no longer take the trip due to a case of force majeure. Can they be reimbursed for their trip?
The individual who can no longer participate in the trip can cancel their participation without impacting the rest of the group.
They can also be reimbursed for the part of the insurance premium concerning them by submitting a request for reimbursement at the following address: information.voyage@mutuaide.fr and by sending us a supporting document confirming their non-participation in the trip.
